すごく単純だけど、効率的な教育方法
すべての講義を記録してネットにアップして、教授は研究に専念させる。
新しくなった分野については、そこだけ変えればいい。
質問は掲示板形式で投稿させ、教授は答えようと思ったもののみにアンサーする(自主的に答えを見つけられる場合などは、答えない)。
学生は自分のペースで学習をすすめられ、講義の時間に拘束されない。
学費も大幅に低下できる。

新しい「チャット」の形、Airtime
先日、Napstarの創業者であるSean ParkerとShawn Fanningが、動画チャットできる新たなサイトAirtimeを公開した。
Facebookのアカウントを使ってログインし、友達とチャット楽しむことができる。 Facebookのビデオ・チャットと違うのは、同じ興味を持った知らない人とも繋がれるというところだ。 知らない人とチャットをする場合は、最初は名前がお互いに伏せてある。 会話してみた後、「友達になっても良いな」と思ったら、友達申請をして初めて自分と相手の名前が公開される。 若干Google+のHangoutに似ているが、ウェブサイトにアクセスするだけでチャットが出来るということでは手軽かもしれない。 カメラとマイクさえあれば、自動的にAirtimeがそれを認識して、チャットにつないでくれる。

MITの心理学者シェリー・タークル曰く、Facebookは子供たちには「重すぎる」 →
「私はいい考えだとは思わない。13歳以上でさえFacebookのプレッシャーに十分悩まされている」とMITの心理学者で “Alone Together“の著者、Sherry Turkleは指摘する。Facebookは13歳未満の子供たちの登録を認めるべきか判断に迷っている。Mark Zuckerberg自らこの話題を持ち出している、「必要な教育は出来るだけ早く始めるべきというのが私の哲学だ」。
しかしTurkleは彼女の研究を踏まえ、自分の評価が永久に公知となる「苦痛」は子供心には重すぎると主張する。さらに「10～13歳の子供たちは校庭にいるべきだ」と彼女は言う、「Facebookは人と向き合う時間を奪う」。
現在禁止されているにも関わらず、9～12歳の38％が、Facebookに潜り込んでいる...
